Fennberg
The Fennberg is a real paradise for walkers: it is divided into the Upper and Lower Fennberg and offers all sorts of different walking routes through an enchanting natural landscape, most suitable for pushchairs and thus providing an experience for the whole family. Start in the centre of Kurtatsch and take the Grubenweg and path no. 7 to Penon, then path no. 2 to Fennhals. From here the path leads to Upper Fennberg and the Fenner Lake. The lake is a particularly peaceful and romantic spot. A biotope offers unique vegetation and a special animal habitat. There are for example the “mammoth trees” in Fennhals and the “Teitschen Stoan”, a projecting rock on the Giggerberg mountain. Its favourable location and warm climate make the lake a popular bathing spot in the summer months.
